All students in Avionics Technology, Biomedical Equipment Technology, Computer Maintenance Technology, Electrical/Computerized Control Systems & Robotics, Electronics Technology, Laser Electro-Optics Technology, Semiconductor Manufacturing Technology and Telecommunications Technology take basic electronic courses through the Electrical/Electronics Core (EEC). The EEC introduces these students to the basic electronic skills they will need for their chosen technical area. TSTC realizes that students come from a wide variety of backgrounds and learning experiences. The EEC department is designed with flexibility which allows students to move through basic electrical/electronics courses at a level which will help ensure a high student success rate.
