The Science Department provides instruction in the concepts of science to enhance a student's technical background through knowledge of basic scientific principles. Where concentrated study areas in science and technology are identified and requested by technical departments, the Science Department provides instruction. Courses offered in the Science Department range from Physical Science, designed for non-science majors, to transferable College Physics I and II. Specialty courses such as fluids, hydraulics and biology are also part of the science curriculum.
