The department’s faculty and staff strive to provide instruction in areas involving interpersonal job skills, critical thinking skills, decision making, and communication skills. To provide an instructional environment where students will demonstrate an increased understanding of the skills and behaviors necessary to become successful in predicting, understanding, and influencing the outcomes in their work, social, and personal environments. Courses offered in the Social and Behavioral Sciences Department are general psychology and introductory sociology.
