Texas has an increasing need for technicians who can service complex commercial refrigeration equipment, as well as diagnose problems in sophisticated heating and cooling systems operating in our homes, work places and schools.
The Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Technology program at Texas State Technical College in Waco offers the education to help develop your skills as an air-conditioning and refrigeration technician. TSTC's facilities include high efficiency commercial and residential heating and air-conditioning equipment, energy efficient heat pumps, commercial refrigeration equipment and a 200-ton chilled water air-conditioning system. You can learn basic and advanced control systems and Direct Digital Control Systems. Additionally, you will work with advanced refrigerant recovery systems, to help you prepare to deal with the critical environmental issues of the industry.
