Student Activities supports the development of the whole student by offering a variety of quality, extra-curricular activities, and provide opportunities to develop students' social, cultural, recreational and leadership experiences.

Ms./Mr. TSTC Pageant

Texas State Technical College Waco annually holds a Ms./Mr. TSTC Pageant. During the competition, the college will select an outstanding female and male student representative for 2008. The students selected will appear at campus and local events as a good-well ambassador for the college.

This year's competition will be held at 6 p.m. on Thursday, March 6 2008, at the TSTC Student Recreation Center.

Entering is easy, just print and complete an Ms./Mr. TSTC Pageant application (pdf) . Give or mail completed application to Vincent Taylor, Student Recreation Center Student Activities Office, TSTC, Waco TX 76705. Return completed application to the Student Recreation Center by 5 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 29, 2008.

Qualifications

All students entered in the pageant must be able to attend the mandatory meeting at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, March 4 2008, to participate.

Other qualifications include:

1. Must be currently enrolled in a program of study.

2. Must not be on Scholastic and/or Disciplinary Probation.

3. Must have/maintain a cumulative 2.5 GPA.

4. Must be willing and able to participate in the pageant and properly represent the college at designated on and off campus activities throughout the year.

5. Must have at least two or more semesters before graduation.

6. Will model Business/Casual and Formal Attire

7. Have a completed application on file
