Student Leadership Council
The Student Leadership Council's purpose is to form a representative, constructive and responsible forum to promote beneficial understanding among students, faculty, staff and administration, and to foster the recognition of the rights and responsibilities of students in such a capacity as to further their interest and well being.
The participation of students in TSTC Waco’s decision making process is an important institutional value. The administration recognizes the Student Leadership Council as the official voice of the student body, and as such, affords the president a permanent seat as a voting member at monthly meetings of the TSTC Waco President’s Executive Team, the decision-making body of the institution.
The general membership of the Student Leadership Council (SLC) will comprise 15 students who have been nominated by the Student Learning division department chairs and elected by popular consent of the student body.
