Checklist
 
After you've completed your Application for Admission online be sure to complete the process to REGISTER at TSTC. Follow the checklist below and you're on your way to becoming a TSTC student.

If you are claiming Texas residency for tuition purposes, you may need to submit a document (i.e. driver's license) that shows you have resided in the state for 12 months prior to registration.

Academic Transcripts: Submit official high school transcript or GED certificate and all official college transcripts, if applicable, to the Admissions & Records Office. Financial Aid cannot be processed for students whose files lack official transcripts.
     
 
»
Immunization Health History Form:  Provide dates of immunizations for measles, mumps, rubella, and tetanus/diphtheria plus any other program-specific requirements.

Special Populations Form (Optional)

If you have not met with a TSTC counselor in the Counseling & Testing Center, you will need to do so prior to registration. Please allow at least three hours for testing and registration. If you have taken a state approved test, bring a copy of your test scores and a copy of your college transcripts for the counselor and your adviser to review for registration and scheduling.

Campus Housing: If you are required to live on campus or you are interested in single student or family housing, forward the completed Red River/Lavaca Hall Housing Application along with required deposit or contact Village Oaks for an application.
     
 
»
Financial Aid: If you are applying for federal financial aid, complete the "Free Application for Federal Student Aid". Follow the directions and pay close attention to details such as filling in all blanks and adding TSTC's code: 003634.
     
 
»
Deaf/Disabled Student Services: If you request accommodations or prescriptions for auxiliary aid for your classes, you will need to submit proof of disability, such as comprehensive individual assessment reports from your high school, or psychological evaluation reports from qualified professionals to Deaf/Disabled Student Services upon your admission to Texas State Technical College.
