Students are notified of their eligibility for graduation when they meet the following requirements:

1. All Texas Success Initiative-related requirements are met.
2. All required course work is satisfactorily completed.
3. All necessary course substitution and/or transfer credit authorizations are on file.
4. All financial obligations to the college are settled.
5. At least 15-semester credit hours or 25 percent of the total required credit hours, whichever is greater, were earned at the college granting the award.
6. The student's program grade point average is 2.0 or higher.

The student's grades in all major courses and technical support courses are C or better.

To obtain a diploma, a student must complete the graduation survey and apply online for graduation. Diplomas are issued after final grades have been recorded on the student's transcript and the student's graduate status has been certified.
