Trends in the functionality of campus ID cards have changed significantly over the past few years. In an effort to ensure that Texas State Technical College Waco offers you more, the college has partnered with Higher One, Inc. to bring you the TECH OneCard. This "all-in-one" card is capable of handling on-campus financial transactions, in addition to usage at off-campus locations.

The TECH OneCard is the official TSTC ID card. This card will handle all ID card services, such as checking out library books, eating in our TSTC Café, and accessing the Student Recreation Center. In addition, the TECH OneCard will offer the following benefits:

• All student financial disbursements, such as refunds and financial aid awards, will be handled through Higher One. But, you have three different options regarding the way you receive a refund. You may choose to have funds transferred to an optional checking account, the OneAccount, providing you easy and secure access to banking services, and you'll receive refunds within minutes of processing. Or, you may elect to have funds transferred to a third-party bank (such as your existing bank account) or you may receive a paper check from Higher One.
• If you choose the OneAccount service, the card will function as a MasterCard Debit Card that is accepted by over 24 million merchants worldwide. Cardholders can get cash from ATMs, write checks, send and receive money electronically from their accounts, and monitor the details of their accounts online. An ATM machine is located in the Student Recreation Center for easy access and a Communication Box is available in the Student Services Center for any correspondence or deposits (must be check or money order).
