Roles & Responsibilities:
As a Printing Specialization graduate, you can look forward to seemingly unlimited career opportunities in sales, customer service, estimating, electronic pre-press operations, platemaking, proofing, press, bindery and finishing positions. Graduates of the Printing Specialization program may hold titles such as customer service representative, pre-press specialist and page layout specialist.
 
Employers want technicians who can:
  • Design and layout ads and concepts on deadline;
  • Fashion and organize ads from concept to production (printing) and presentation;
  • Clearly communicate messages to consumers; and
  • Solve clients' problems with creativity.
Industry Standards:
In addition to holding a degree from TSTC, graduates can build skills and credibility in the job market by earning industry certifications.
