| Printing Specialization graduates can look forward to creative career positions with printing, publishing and packaging companies throughout Texas and the United States. Texas ranks fourth in the nation in number of printing companies, with print sales of more than $7.1 billion per year and more than 3,100 companies. Nationwide, more than 53,000 printing companies employ over a million people. Successful graduates have almost endless opportunities. Many of the largest companies are in metropolitan areas such as San Antonio, Austin, Dallas, Fort Worth and Houston. |

| While at TSTC, Printing Specialization students use many types of equipment and software to gain a technical edge. These include: |
- High-end Macintosh and IBM-compatible computer systems;
- QuarkXPress; Adobe Illustrator, PhotoShop, PageMaker and InDesign;
- A PressMatch color proofing system;
- A Xerox color copier with a Fiery RIP;
- An Agfa imagesetter;
- A Harris sheetfed offset press; and
- A variety of industry-standard bindery equipment.
