| Upon successfully completing all required courses, you will be awarded an Associate degree in Aircraft Pilot Training Technology. A full-time, academically prepared student should complete all APT academics in 21 months. Because our flight courses are self-paced, only the most highly motivated student will complete all flying in less than 24 to 30 months. Our pilots commonly continue flying, as students or as Flight Instructors, while finishing a four-year bachelor’s degree at a local university.

In addition to ratings required for the Associate degree, pilots may earn the following certificates required for aviation careers: Instrument Flight Instructor, Multi-engine Pilot and Multi-engine Instructor.

Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree: TSTC offers an Aviation Science program with Baylor University through which you can earn both associate's and bachelor's degrees. APT graduates can also continue at colleges such as Tarleton State, Southeastern Oklahoma State, Louisiana Tech and Northwestern (La.) State universities.
