Career Outlook

Roles & Responsibilities:
As an APT graduate, you can expect a career filled with opportunities! After completing our program, the first job is often as a Flight Instructor to build flight hours and experience. Most of our graduates eventually go on to regional airlines or corporate flight departments and begin working their way up to larger aircraft and higher pay.

Employers want pilots who can:
  • Skillfully perform required duties;
  • Positively represent an organization;
  • Communicate cordially with customers; and
  • Behave in a responsible and mature manner.
Industry Standards:
In addition to holding a degree from TSTC, graduates can gain credibility in the field with industry certifications. Upon successful completion of the APT program, each graduate will hold an FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate, Instrument Rating and a Flight Instructor Certificate.
