Today's vehicles are so electronically advanced and computerized that the automotive industry requires technicians with specialized education and skill ... advanced training and abilities.
The Automotive Technology program at Texas State Technical College Waco is offering the Chrysler College Automotive Program (CAP) specialization through a partnership between Chrysler Corporation and TSTC Waco. The CAP automotive program is designed to upgrade the technical competency and professionalism of the incoming dealership technician.
The curriculum, designed by Chrysler Corporation and TSTC Waco, provides hand-on training on the latest vehicles, components, and instructional materials utilizing high-tech diagnostic equipment.
In addition to your college training, you'll also be offered the opportunity to serve as an intern at a participating Chrysler, Dodge, or Jeep dealership, where you'll get on-site training under the direction of master technicians. You'll not only learn about repair procedures for Chrysler vehicles, but also dealership service operations.
The Automotive Technology program, ranked the leader in post-secondary automotive education, features approximately $3 million worth of the latest equipment and laboratories. AUT is certified by the National Automotive Technicians Education Foundation and its instructors are certified by Automotive Service Excellence.
