Tech Bucks offer students and employees the option of purchasing credit on an account that is accessed through their TechOne card, eliminating the need to carry cash for food purchases. They can be used at Tornado Alley Cafe or the TSTC Bookstore.

Tech Bucks are sold in $50 increments and may be purchased with cash, check*, credit/debit card, money order or Financial Aid at the TSTC Tornado Alley Café or the TSTC Waco Cashier’s office. To purchase with Financial Aid, there must be a credit on the student's TSTC account. Tech Buck forms must be filled out in the Student Accounting Office and payment made prior to activation.

Tech Bucks work on a declining balance method; therefore the cardholder makes purchase at Tornado Alley and the funds are deducted from their account, dollar for dollar.  Tech Buck holders will receive a receipt for their current purchase that also will include the balance of their account.

Once dollars are placed on the account, they cannot be withdrawn. Should you leave TSTC, no refunds will be issued.

All Tech Buck account balances expire on the last day of class of the summer semester.  Tech Bucks have no cash value at expiration and are not transferable.
