Dear Prospective Student:

Thank you for your interest in Computer Networking & SystemsAdministration (CNS) at TSTC Waco. This brochure and program overview has been provided to help you make an informed decision about your educational future. It is our hope that CNS will be that choice.

The faculty and staff of the CNS program are dedicated to helping our students develop the technical skills and knowledge to pursue a career in the dynamic field of computer networking and system administration. We have partnered with several industry leaders to help insure that our programs teach the skills in demand by today's employers. These companies include Cisco Systems, Microsoft, and Sun Microsystems.

The two-year AAS degree program includes classroom and laboratory instruction that focuses on building extensive experience in Microsoft, Novell NetWare, and UNIX/Linux system administration. CNS students enjoy the opportunity to attain professional certifications and gain valuable work experience while working toward their degrees. Specializations are offered in Windows networking and UNIX/Linux. All AAS degrees include courses in hardware, desktop support, Cisco networking, Internet technologies, and basic problem-solving logic.
