All first-time students and transfer students seeking a degree or certificate will need to complete the assessment procedure for placement purposes prior to registration. These procedures include:

1. An evaluation of high school or college transcript(s);
2. Completion of appropriate testing;
3. An interview with a counselor; and
4. Receipt of a placement form that will provide course placement and proper remediation recommendations.

Specialized testing may be required based upon the counselor-student interview.
