Retention Services helps to successfully integrate at-risk students, both academically and socially, into campus life; to coordinate the retention efforts of many areas of campus by providing information and support services to faculty, departments and administration.
Another Chance To Succeed, sponsored and facilitated by Student Development Services, is a required weekly seminar for students on financial aid probation to attend one hour each Thursday for the first five weeks of the semester. There is no cost and students eligible to participate will be notified by letter one week before the first day of classes. An additional notice of eligibility will be attached to the students refund loan and/or grant checks for student review. Eligible students may register directly through Web Advisor or by personal visit with a faculty advisor or student services academic advisor. Students must select the time and section most convenient on a first come first serve basis. Each section will be limited to a maximum of 55 participants each. |
