Dental Assistant

Upon successfully completing all required coursework, TSTC will award you a Certificate of Completion in Dental Assistant. A full-time, academically prepared student can complete the certificate program in approximately one year. Full-time students enroll for 12 credit hours and receive individualized instruction for 24 hours per week. As a student, your schedule will dictate your progression. In addition to listening to multimedia lectures, you will gain hands-on, instructor-supervised laboratory experiences in preparation for tests of mastery and the next level of instruction.

Please note: For safety reasons, students may not enroll in DNTA 1205, DNTA 1349 or DNTA 1466 while pregnant.

Capstone course: A required learning experience which results in a consolidation and synthesis of a student's educational experience. The capstone experience certifies mastery of entry-level work place competencies.
