... A specialization in Drafting & Design Technology
 
Upon successful completion of the curriculum, TSTC will award you an Associate of Applied Science degree in Drafting & Design Technology. A full-time, academically prepared student can complete the associate's degree plan in approximately 16 months.
 
The Mechanical/Electronic specialization focuses on drafting applications in mechanical, electro-mechanical, process piping, aerospace, printed circuit board design, micro-electronics and many other related areas. This specialization provides practical instruction on wiring, circuit board assembly, schematics and layout for manufacturing, installing and repairing electronic devices. Courses in the Mechanical/Electronic Specializations also cover detail and assembly of machinery and mechanical devices using dimensions, fastening methods and more.
