Roles & Responsibilities:
As a graduate of the DMD program, you may hold positions with titles such as production assistant, computer graphics designer, 2-D or 3-D animator, Web page Developer and interactive software developer.

Graduates may find entry-level work assisting artists or programmers, scripting for multimedia applications, creating 3-D assets for broadcasts, editing video for production, designing and maintaining Web pages, creating graphic designs for print and multimedia, and photo-retouching of photographs.

 
Employers want technicians who can:
  • Think and create;
  • Work as members of a team;
  • Plan, schedule projects and meet deadlines;
  • Adapt to new software and problem solve;
  • Complete tasks with minimal supervision; and
  • Accurately estimate the time and cost to deliver projects.
