Funds made
available
through the State Energy Conservation Office support TSTC’s growing
effort to provide training in stationary fuel cells and other forms of
renewable or alternative energy.
Through the newly formed Texas Renewable Energies Education
Consortium
(TREEC), TSTC has partnered with two-year and four-year colleges and
universities across the state to provide outreach to middle and high school
students and teachers as well as to provide focused training experiences for
Texas college students interested in energy careers. For additional information, please

CASPER
Baylor University’s Center for Astrophysics, Space Physics &
Engineering Research (CASPER) locates its experimental research lab on the
TSTC
campus and is funded by NASA, NSF, the US Department of Education, and other
agencies. The Center’s
partnerships extend worldwide, and link TSTC students to active research in
shock physics, space physics, and nanoscale plasma applications. TSTC students working with CASPER receive paid
internships as well as research-grade work experience. Through a new partnership with the
University of Stuttgart
(Germany), TSTC will
partner
with CASPER
in
a small satellite space operations program. For additional information, please
