TSTC Waco requires all students, including transfers, to complete online entrance counseling within the Loans By Web site. You will need to complete the entrance counseling even if you have completed the entrance counseling in person or at a different location. When you log into the Loans By Web site, you will be prompted to complete the entrance counseling. Once you have completed the counseling, write down the confirmation number (for your records) verifying your completion and continue with the Loans By Web process by selecting Loans By Web hyperlink at the bottom of the entrance counseling page. if you have any questions, please contact TGSLC at (800) 845-6267. |

- Allow approximately 20 minutes to complete the application process. DO NOT CHANGE ANNUAL LOAN AMOUNT unless you do not want that much money for the year.
- The computer you use will need to have Adobe Acrobat Reader. If your computer is not already equipped with this program, go to http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html

- Be prepared to provide two references with two separate U.S. addresses and telephone numbers.
- When given options, always choose "Continue" unless you want to start over.

- Access the Loans by Web web site at https://lbw.tgslc.org
- Enter Social Security Number & Birthdate.
- Complete Entrance Counseling (if required)
- Choose complete loan award.
- Choose Begin.
- Fill in reference section and choose next.
- Select a lender if one doesn't appear and choose next.
- Submit
- Guarantee
- Either E-sign your application or print it out, sign it, and mail it to your lender.

Remember: You will be required to e-sign or mail a signed Master Promissory Note (MPN) to your lender only once during your college career unless you decide to change lenders. |
