Certificate program graduates may perform service, repair and maintain equipment or install equipment in new or existing buildings. Industry Standards:
Under Section 608 of the Clean Air Act, the Environmental Protection Agency requires individuals to be certified before allowing them to work with refrigerants during the service, repair or disposal of appliances and industrial process refrigeration.
