Fort Bend Technical Center
The Fort Bend Technical Center opened its doors in August 2001 at 5333 F.M. 1640 in Richmond. The state-of-the-art technical facility provides targeted curriculum plans in one of the country's fastest-growing areas. Texas State Technical College, Wharton County Junior College, the cities of Richmond and Rosenberg, the Lamar Consolidated Independent School District, and Wharton and Fort Bend counties worked together to open the center.
