Fort Bend Technical Center
Expansion Plans are Underway
Texas State Technical College is excited to be expanding its offerings in Fort Bend County to bring residents of this rapidly growing part of the state new opportunities in higher education. TSTC has been providing top-quality technical education for Texas and Texans for 50 years. As we celebrate our golden anniversary in 2015, with 97,000+ TSTC graduates employed throughout the nation, the college is more committed than ever to providing citizens of Rosenberg, Richmond, Sugar Land and the surrounding area access to highly-specialized and advance technical education that can lead to great career opportunities.
In the new Fort Bend County higher education center, Wharton County Junior College will continue to provide academic instruction and TSTC will provide technical instruction. Students can complete a certificate, associate degree or transfer to one of several university partners to complete a bachelor's degree.
With the new location in Fort Bend, opening in Fall 2016, TSTC expects to initially offer technical training in nine exciting career areas, including a continuing education course in Commercial Truck Driving. Read about Fort Bend County's technical training here.
