| As a Food Service/Culinary Arts graduate, you can expect an exciting career filled with flexibility and professional rewards. FSC graduates have responsibilities ranging from menu planning, nutrition, scheduling, sanitation and safety. As a graduate of the program, you may hold titles such as cook, sous chef, kitchen supervisor, production supervisor, assistant manager, manager trainee, food and beverage director or baker. |
- Exhibit quick problem-solving skills;
- Work flexible schedules;
- Communicate clearly and effectively with customers and coworkers; and
- Provide direction and leadership in a team environment.

| In addition to obtaining a degree or certificate from TSTC, graduates gain credibility in the job market with nation-wide industry certifications. Food Service/Culinary Arts graduates can earn ServSafe sanitarian certification from the NRA Educational Foundation and other certifications specific to the industry. |

| Graduates with extensive experience can also establish “working certification” higher credentials with ACF designations such as Certified Executive Chef and Certified Executive Pastry Chef. |
