| Graduates of the GLM program hold a variety of positions, from golf course superintendent to landscape foreman. These specialized professionals also have a range of responsibilities, from developing low-maintenance landscaping and irrigation systems for industrial facilities to renovating and grooming athletic fields, from installing low-water-usage sprinkler systems to preparing pro-level golf courses for national tournaments, just to name a few. |
- Skillfully apply techniques to maximize benefits from landscaping, irrigation, pest control and turfgrass management;
- Demonstrate manual dexterity skills and strength;
- Develop knowledge as the industry changes;
- Communicate professionally orally and in writing;
- Work alone and as team members; and
- Understand and comply with complex environmental regulations.
