Golf Course & Landscape Management graduates earn outstanding salaries. The average ranges from $24,000 to $30,000 in annual starting salary. With experience, professionals in landscape and turfgrass industries enjoy excellent earnings with an array of fringe benefits such as meal and vehicle allowances, paid vacation and insurance, bonuses and more. According to the Golf Course Superintendents Association of America's 2000 Compensation and Benefits Report, base superintendent salaries in the United States range from a median of $52,000 up to $88,000 and more; the related median in Texas hit $53,000. The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics indicated 1997 median hourly earnings of $12.94 for managers and supervisors in the largest agricultural service occupations.
 
Technicians in Demand:
GLM graduates enjoy excellent career opportunities nationwide. These professionals hold exciting posts at some of the nation's most well-known facilities, such as Augusta, home of the Masters; The Ballpark at Arlington; Merion Golf Club in Merion, Pa.; Kyle Field at Texas A&M University; and Waco's Bear Ridge Golf Club.
