Student Health Services staff provides healthcare and health programs designed to help students avoid interruption of the educational process and to prevent conditions which will keep students from taking full advantage of their educational opportunities.

Despite safety precautions, there are certain risks inherent in any work involving regular contact with mechanical and electrical equipment incidental to instruction in a technical college such as TSTC. Therefore, students are required to adhere to stringent safety precautions and to make provisions for the cost of medical treatment in the event of illness, an accident or emergency.

In the event that you suffer an accident or illness, TSTC Waco will assist you in receiving medical attention. Students enrolling at TSTC are eligible to participate in a low-cost, group insurance plan for themselves and their families.

Although TSTC Waco's Student Health Services department is limited to basic health care and nursing, including immunizations and screenings, the staff works closely with health care providers in the community. In addition, the health services staff is available to assist you during school hours.
