ICR graduates who specialize in Robotic Systems can look toward an array of exciting career opportunities with titles such as automation technician, computer and robotic interface technician, field service representative, PLC programmer, motion system programmer, system integrator, technical sales representative and vision system technician.
 
Employers want technicians who can:
  • Follow oral and written instructions
  • Accurately document observations
  • Understand and apply scientific concepts
  • Work alone or in a team environment
  • Learn new skills and concepts on their own
Industry Standards:
TSTC has conferred more associate degrees than any public two-year college in the nation in the Engineering-related Technologies/Technicians category and in the state of Texas in Communication and Information Sciences and Support Services category, according to June 2009 edition of "Community College Week" magazine.
