Roles & Responsibilities:
Recreational vehicle maintenance technicians are needed to work in dealerships, production facilities and for small and large maintenance shops.

RV technicians work on numerous tasks and have to be knowledgeable in a variety of areas, from basic automotive mechanics to electrical systems and from HVAC to welding ... RV maintenance technicians are truly a “jack of all trades,” and they must be competent in these areas.

 
Employers want technicians who can:
  • Plan jobs;
  • Know how systems and components operate;
  • Understand technical drawings and instructions;
  • Follow detailed instructions;
  • Carry out accurate measurements;
  • Effectively use tools and equipment; and
  • Utilize both physical and mental capabilities to solve problems and grow with the industry.
