With a vision for the future, Texas State Technical College Waco developed the nation's first Laser Electro-Optics Technology (LET) program in 1969. As a student in the two-year laser technology degree program, you can prepare for a challenging career as a laser optics technician, using some of industry's finest laboratory equipment valued at more than $40 million.

As a graduate of the LET program, you can look forward to exciting, rewarding and high-paying career opportunities in science, medicine and other industries. The laser technology also offers a specialization in its Biomedical Laser Certification program, which helps students develop an in-depth understanding and proficiency in biomedical laser applications and more.
