The TSTC Waco Library Computer Lab is located in the back of the Library. The 24 Dell computers with 19” flat screen monitors provide students with internet capabilities and various types of software to use for college/educational purposes. It is staffed by a Lab Assistant and college work study assistants.

Only currently registered students are allowed to use the computer lab. Students must present their TSTC ID card upon entering the lab.

Computer Lab Policies:
Sexually explicit materials will not be tolerated and privileges will be removed. Food and drinks also are not allowed. Students are allowed to check their personal email accounts; however, social networking sites, instant messaging, and chatting/chatrooms are not permitted. Students can print school-related black and white materials at no charge. The cost for personal printing over five pages is $.05 a page.

Some programs available are: Windows XP Professional, Autodesk-AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Visual Studio, Adobe Reader, Easy CD Creator, Internet Explorer and Windows Media Player. Some of the accessories are Notepad, Wordpad, calculator and paint.

The operating hours for the Computer Lab are:
     Monday-Thursday 8:00 a.m.-5:30 p.m.
     Friday 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
     Saturday 1:00 p.m.-4:30 p.m.
