Periodicals include general interest magazines, technical and professional journals, and newspapers. The Library subscribes to approximately 250 periodicals.To find periodicals related to a specific technology, consult the Periodicals by Technology List available at the Circulation Desk or you may click on the Technology Listing link on this web page.

The Library does not check out periodicals; they are for in-Library use only. However, you can make photocopies of articles for a small charge.

The Alphabetized List link provides the titles of periodicals to which the TSTC Waco Library subscribes, either in print, electronic, or in some cases both print and electronic formats.

To determine which format is used, you may click on any of the following links listed in the Format column within the Alphabetized List:

• Print - a listing of periodicals that are located within the TSTC Waco Library periodical collection;
• EBSCOHost - a listing of periodicals that are accessed electronically in the EBSCOHost online database;
• All - A combined listing of periodicals, both print and electronic.

Please note that a periodical that is listed as in the print format may also be found in the EBSCOHost database but if the periodical title is listed as in the EBSCOHost format, we do not have that title in the print format in the Library.

Our subscription to the EBSCOHost online database permits us to allow both on the TSTC Waco campus and off-campus usage to authorized patrons (TSTC Waco students, faculty and staff). However, the other online databases to which the TSTC Waco Library subscribes have placed restrictions to their databases for on-campus use only.

EBSCOHost can be accessed off-campus by TSTC Waco employees; students can have off-campus access after the 12th-day class census requirement is met each semester. Off-campus library patrons wanting to use EBSCOHost must first call the library at (254) 867-4846 to be put on a user roster.  You will need to provide your name and ID number as it appears on your TSTC ID card.
