The Mechanical Engineering Technology program combines state-of-the-art manufacturing methods and processes with engineering mechanics and design. The coursework emphasizes computer integration of manufacturing processes using PC-based Computer-Aided Drafting/Computer-Aided Manufacturing (CAD/CAM) applications. The combination of classroom and hands-on laboratory training, on some of the most advanced manufacturing machinery and computer software provides MET graduates with skills that are highly lucrative, and in much demand, everywhere in Texas and the United States.
