New Student Orientation
It is time to get connected to TSTC! Connect at New Student Orientation! What is New Student Orientation? New Student Orientation is an introduction to TSTC's campus and student life. At orientation you will:
Why attend New Student Orientation? Orientation is a required program for all incoming students that will help you prepare for your transition into college life, as well as the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead. Also, students who attend orientation are more likely to stay in college and be satisfied with their college experiences, more likely to get better grades and more likely to graduate. New Student Orientation Sessions Spring 2012Every new student will need to attend one of the following sessions. All sessions will start at the John B. Connally Technology Center. The John B. Connally Technology Center (JBC) is located on the corner of Crest and Campus drives. Click here for a map of the building. Lunch is NOT included, but can be purchased at the Tornado Cafe on campus. NO REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED FOR THESE SESSIONS. Students will sign-in as they arrive. General Sessions Tuesday, Dec. 13, 1 to 3 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 15, 9 to 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 5, 1 to 3 p.m. New Student Orientation Make-up Sessions Spring 2012Make-up sessions are designed for students that cannot attend a general session. It will help the student get acquainted with TSTC and give them basic information on the campus. Make-up Sessions Tuesday, Jan. 10, noon to 1 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 11, noon to 1 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 12, noon to 1 p.m.
