Why attend New Student Orientation?
Orientation is a required program for all incoming students that will help you prepare for your transition into college life, as well as the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead. Also, students who attend orientation are more likely to stay in college and be satisfied with their college experiences, more likely to get better grades and more likely to graduate.
Every new student will need to attend a session.
All session are scheduled to be held at the JBC Auditorium.
Monday, June 16 9 a.m. to noon
Friday, June 27 1:30 to 4:30 p.m.
Monday, June 30 9 a.m. to noon
Monday, July 14 9 a.m. to noon
Friday, July 18 1:30 to 4:30 p.m.
Friday, July 25 1:30 to 4:30 p.m.
Monday, July 28 9 a.m. to noon
Friday, August 8 1:30 to 4:30 p.m.
Monday, August 11 9 a.m. to noon
Friday, August 22 1:30 to 4:30 p.m.
Monday, August 25 9 a.m. to noon
All orientation sessions will be held in the John B Connally Auditorium, located at the corner of Crest and Campus Dr.
* To register on the day of orientation, students must complete all testing, take the CSI assessment and meet with a TSTC Success Coach.
Make-up Sessions for all students:
Loan Information Sessions (LIS) will be offered following each regular orientation session in the Student Recreation Center’s Multipurpose Room. For more on the loan sessions, contact Rhonda Beauchamp at firstname.lastname@example.org.
