Visual Communication & Design
Graphic communication is communication using graphic elements. It is the process of creating, producing, and distributing material incorporating words and images to convey data, concepts, and emotions. The field of graphic communications encompasses all phases of the graphic communications processes, from origination of the idea (design, layout, and typography) through reproduction, finishing and distribution of two- or three-dimensional products or electronic transmissions.

In the two-year Visual Communication & Design program, you'll study a variety of courses as you work toward an Associate of Applied Science Degree with instructors who teach from actual experience in the advertising and design field. Degrees include Graphic Design & Advertising, Digital Photography and Electronic Publishing.
Also, our professional staff and members of our Advisory Committee review each graduate's work and offer job leads and tips. In addition to staff members and advisory committee members, our alumni are great contacts for employment.
