Auto Collision Repair Certificate
Students can choose to specialize in a certificate program if they are short of time and in hurry to get to work and need a quicker route to obtaining credentials. The Auto Body Collision Repair Certificate, which can be completed in about one year, offers a chance to gain quick credentials in a booming industry. Other students prefer to obtain a full associate degree and add the specialization of Auto Body Collision Repair to further enhance their skills.
While students study, they practice their craft in high-tech labs, such as the $2.1 million, 40,000 square foot Transportation Technologies Center. You know you’re getting the very best education, because the Auto Collision Management (ACM) program offers one of just four postsecondary auto body programs in Texas certified by the National Automotive Technicians Education Foundation. In addition, the ACM program is ASE-compliant (Automotive Service Excellence) and the staff is certified by ASE — an important fact considering 69 percent of all shops are ASE-certified.
