The future for a collision repair technician is limited only by his or her imagination. You could enter the collision repair field as a refinishing technician, sheet metal technician, or frame technician. Or you might prefer to become an estimating. Many techs spin off into performance chassis fabrication, and custom refinishing and restoration.
