The Automotive Technology offers a variety of certificates that can add clout to your overall degree plan, or allow to you specialize within a certain area. Others already in the workforce might want to consider upgrading their job skills by adding additional certifications. Whatever you choose, TSTC’s Automotive program offers a variety of certificates to help put on you on a fast track to the job market. Choose from:

• Automotive Parts Specialist – Level 1 Certificate
• Heavy Line Technician – Level 1 Certificate 
• Automotive Technology – Level 2 Certificate 

TSTC also offers students the opportunity to specialize through AUT’s Toyota Training & Education Network (T-TEN) program, where you can choose from the full associate degree program or enhance your skills with the T-TEN Level 2 Certificate of Completion.

Associate Degree-Automotive Technology
TSTC’s Associate of Applied Science degree program requires about 20 months to complete for a full-time, academically prepared student. Upon successful completion of the curriculum, you will receive an Associate of Applied Science degree in Automotive Technology.  Today's automotive technicians enjoy excellent careers. With thousands of job openings, the automotive repair field offers virtually unlimited positions, salaries and growth potential. Automotive Technology graduates qualify for positions such as automotive service technician, service adviser, service consultant, auto parts specialist, parts sales or service manager.

Associate Degree-Toyota Technician
TSTC and Toyota developed T-TEN – Toyota Training & Education Network – to fill the growing need for highly professional, technically competent apprentice technicians for Toyota dealerships. Through this comprehensive link, Toyota and TSTC offer a variety of unique educational benefits including the latest in educational and instructional course materials, paid dealership cooperative education opportunities, scholarships and tools, dealership placement assistance and a state-of-the-art education on the latest components and vehicles. Students also have the option of obtaining a Certificate of Completion.
