Students in the TSTC Automotive Technology Program are trained to go to work as entry-level technicians at dealerships, independents repair shops, chain and specialty stores, as well as fleet operations.

At TSTC, our Automotive Technology classes are interactive, intimate, and thorough. Instructors work one on one with students to ensure each person gets the individualized attention and help they need. We are proud to offer such a low student/teacher ratio to facilitate a personal learning environment.

Hands-on learning

You’ll be putting your elbow grease to the test in this program! We make sure you have every opportunity to get your hands dirty with each piece of equipment you’ll use on the job before you ever leave the classroom. We want you to feel experienced and comfortable with the tools you’ll be working with in the industry.

That’s why we teach you how to use things like: digital volt ohm meters, digital storage oscilloscopes, graphing digital multi-meters, five-gas exhaust analyzers and engine analyzers, automotive service information systems, brake lathes, drum and outside disc micrometers, computerized four-wheel alignment systems, hydraulic lifts, and automotive computer diagnostic scanning tools.

TSTC has placed industry professionals in the driver’s seat with you. Our Advisory Committees are determining what is taught and how it is conveyed to you so that the methods and technology TSTC incorporates are the desired, front line solutions.
