What you’ll do!

The days of simple repairs for automotive service technicians are all but over. Now, thanks to advanced equipment, their jobs have moved from mechanical repairs to high-level technology-related work. Most vehicles are now run by integrated electronic systems and computers, which means auto technicians need to know these systems inside and out.

As an auto technician, you’ll give basic care maintenance, such as oil changes and tire rotations, and put your problem-solving skills to good use by diagnosing more complex problems. At TSTC you can learn to use computerized shop equipment with electronic components, as well as traditional hand tools.
