To be accepted into the Aviation Maintenance program, you must fill out an application and meet with Asst. Department Chair Kelly Filgo in person, or by phone if a campus visit is not possible. The meeting must occur before the deadline of Monday, Oct. 20 for the Spring 2015 semester and Monday, March 16 for the Summer 2015 semester. Application results will be announced two weeks before new student registration.

With strict Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) requirements and the large volume of commercial and private air traffic, graduates from Texas State Technical College 's FAA-certified Aviation Maintenance Technology program are in big demand. Graduates of the Aviation Maintenance Technology can find the potential for great salaries and advancement opportunities.
