You’ll be working on an array of machines that utilize diesel technology.
The best news? Opportunities in this field are wide open. You can specialize in trucks, construction, agricultural, and oil field equipment, public transportation, power generators and marine applications like boats and ships!

Talk about experience: between them, the instructors at TSTC’s have thousands of hours of experience in this field. Some have spent their entire career working with and teaching others about diesel technology. They work tirelessly to provide each student with the knowledge and one-on-one attention to excel in program and ultimately their career.
Small class size
At TSTC, our Diesel Technology students get one on one attention from our faculty. The student/teacher ratio is 10:1 per class to ensure that instructors have time to foster individualized training.
When you enter the Diesel Technology program, our instructors want to make sure you get the full experience. They make it a priority to give you tons of hands on learning experiences. They spend most of their time with you in the lab doing complete and partial rebuilds of engines. They also spend time teaching you about individual components that you’ll need to be familiar with on the job.
TSTC has placed industry professionals in the driver’s seat with you. Our Advisory Committees are determining what is taught and how it is conveyed to you so that the methods and technology TSTC incorporates are the desired, front line solutions.
