Employers have compelling reasons to hire our TSTC graduates:
Program graduates have found posts at some of the nation’s most well-known facilities, such as South Hill, Tierra Verde Golf Club, Sea Island, Dallas Athletic Club, White Bluff Resort, Bandit Golf Club, Austin’s Hyatt Regency, The Hills of Lakeway, and Augusta, home of the Masters.
We match learning to industry needs.
As golf course management and landscape professionals, our advisory committees assist the college in determining the courses you study, providing a valuable advantage. They can ensure that what we teach matches what their industry is seeking.
TSTC graduates can gain credibility and earnings with experience and industry certifications. For example, the Texas Department of Agriculture offers a Pesticide Applicator Noncommercial License. Individuals can also apply for an Irrigator License through the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality.
Students in Golf Course & Landscape Management Technology gain exposure to established professionals though the program's advisory committee and various industry groups. In addition, graduates with experience can earn certifications from organizations such as the Professional Grounds Management Society and the Professional Landcare Network.
