Industrial Systems & Engineering is located in the Industrial Technology Center at the main entrance of campus on the corner of Crest and Campus drives.

Thank you for inquiring about the Industrial Systems & Engineering Technology programs at Texas State Technical College Waco. It is an exciting, dynamic and diversified technology including Facilities Engineering & Management Technology, and Industrial Maintenance Technology.

Facilities Engineering & Management Technology Specialization is a six semester Associate of Applied Science degree plan. The program is designed to prepare you to operate and maintain all the mechanical and electrical systems within industrial, commercial and healthcare facilities; supervise and manage the activities of maintenance personnel; and work with architects, engineers, inspectors and contractors on facilities designs and modifications.

Industrial Maintenance Technology Specialization is also a six-semester Associate of Applied Science Degree program. Graduates may find employment in manufacturing, pharmaceutical, chemical plants and refineries working on large pumps, valves, motors, steam turbines, air compressors, hydraulic presses and pneumatic equipment. A three-semester certificate program is also available for students who would like a quicker means of entering the industrial maintenance work force. This certificate program offers the basic mechanical and millwright skills, along with electrical, refrigeration and welding skills.
