Enhanced Skills Certificate of Completion- Aircraft Pilot Training
In addition to ratings required for the associate degree, pilots may earn the following certificates required for aviation careers: Instrument Flight Instructor, Multi-engine Pilot and Multi-engine Instructor.
Certificate of Completion- Level 2- Aircraft Dispatch
Students interested in studying Aircraft Dispatch can start with a Certificate of Completion and continue on to get an assoicate degree. Others seeking the full degree also choose to enhance their skills by adding the Level 2 Certificate. All programs are approved by the Federal Aviation Administration.
Commercial Pilot- Helicopter Certificate
Students not wanting to go the route of an Associates Degree may choose the 40 hour Commercial Pilot Helicopter Certificate. Students will learn the basics of air naviation, commercial flight and helicopter systems.
Associate Degree - Aircraft Dispatch Technology
TSTC offers a Fedeeral Aviation Approved specialization in Aircraft Dispatch through two completion paths for students: an associate degree in Aircraft Dispatch or a certificate of completion that can fast-track students into launching their careers. In addition to a degree from TSTC, graduates will have the opportunity to take the FAA Practical Test to earn an FAA Aircraft Dispatcher certificate upon completion of the program.
Associate Degree - Aircraft Pilot Training
The two-year Aircraft Pilot Training associate degree program at TSTC, FAA-approved under Part 141 of the Federal Air Regulations, immerses you in variety of flight activities to put you on the path to success. Successful graduates will hold FAA Private and Commercial certificates along with an Instrument Rating. Flight Instructor certificates or a Multi-engine rating will complete the degree requirement. For those who want to continue their education, TSTC offers an Aviation Science program with Baylor University and with Tarleton State University, allowing you to also earn a bachelor’s degree.
Associate Degree - Aircraft Pilot Training- Helicopter Specialization
Aircraft Pilot Training students may choose to specialize in helicopter pilot training. The program, which is similar to the APT program, includes five specialized courses for the program, inlcuding Helicopter Systems, Helicopter Instrument Ground School, Helicopter Propulsion Systems, Helicopter Commercial Flight and Helicopter Certified Flight Instructor.
