Living on campus offers a lot of opportunities for TSTC students. You will
be exposed to social activities and educational programming and begin
building lasting friendships. Besides being conveniently close to classes
and campus resources, research show that students who live on campus for at
least one year are more likely to:
· Finish college compared to those who never live on
campus
· Go on to earn an advanced degree
· Have a higher GPA
· Gain improved self-confidence
· Participate more in outside class activities
All first-time students or transfer
students enrolling in public, private or independent institutions of higher education on or after Jan.1, 2010,
who plan to live in single-student housing (Lavaca Hall, Red River or
Village Oaks Apartments) are required to be vaccinated for Bacterial
Meningitis at least 10 days prior to move in and provide
appropriate documentation.
