The student will be certified for the entire school year provided that is the length of time needed to graduate, and at least one half time, and provided previous training has been reviewed. If you were certified for the previous term, and have not registered and paid by the first class day, the VA will be notified that you are no longer registered. This will most likely result in an overpayment for the break of the previous term if you were paid to the end of the month rather than the end of the term. It is very important to let the Certifying Official know if you do not plan to return the next term.

Students are considered to be full-time when registered for 12 credit hours or more that are needed to graduate, and are approved by the VA.
